Tests on a magpie found dead in Sha Tin indicate a suspected H5 avian flu case, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

The bird was found outside 13 Jat Min Chuen Street, Sha Tin, on May 31.

People should observe good personal hygiene, avoid contact with wild birds and live poultry, and wash their hands thoroughly after contact with them. For more prevention tips click here.
