International Arts Carnival to be held

 

The annual International Arts Carnival will be held from July 4 to August 12, featuring more than 400 fun family events.

 

This year, 14 performing groups from the Mainland, Singapore, India, Australia, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Italy and the US will join 36 local groups to give performances. They will include acrobatics, music, drama, puppetry, interactive theatre and a marching band parade.

 

The Guangdong Acrobatic Troupe will launch the event with its rendition of Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake.

Other activities

Apart from performances, there will be workshops, school tours, exhibitions, cultural tours, the Children's Fun Week, plus library and museum activities.

 

Tickets are $40 to $300 at URBTIX outlets. Seniors, full-time students, the disabled and welfare recipients get a 50% discount.
