HPC logo (Eng version)

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed one more Dengue fever case in which a  29-year-old woman living in North Point fell ill after travelling to Indonesia.

On February 22, she came down with fever, and pains in her muscles and bones. She recovered after consulting a doctor on February 27.

The woman had travelled to Indonesia from February 15 to 25. Her family members did not have any symptoms.

Today's case is the fourth imported Dengue fever reported this year. Last year, there were 31 reported cases, all imported. Click here for prevention tips.
