The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a food poisoning case involving nine people who fell ill after eating at a Happy Valley club.
The three men and six women, aged 24 to 46, came down with diarrhoea, abdominal pain, vomiting and fever after dinner on November 18. One sought medical treatment from Queen Elizabeth Hospital and three consulted private doctors.
People should observe good personal and environmental hygiene to prevent food-borne diseases. For more food safety tips click here.
