The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a Dengue fever case involving a 62-year-old Ma On Shan man, bringing the year's total cases to 22, all imported.
He came down with fever on August 1 after travelling to the Mainland July 1 to 28. He recovered after seeking treatment at Prince of Wales Hospital.
People should stay alert to the threat of Dengue fever and take measures against mosquito breeding. Travellers should wear long-sleeved tops and trousers, and use insect repellent. If feeling unwell after returning from abroad, consult a doctor.
