The Centre for Food Safety is closely monitoring developments in the recall of seven Cadbury's chocolate bars in the UK.

The products are Cadbury Dairy Milk Turkish 250g, Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel 250g, Cadbury Dairy Milk Mint 250g, Cadbury Dairy Milk 8 chunk, Cadbury Dairy Milk 1kg, Cadbury Dairy Milk Button Easter Egg 105g and Cadbury Freddo 10 pence.

Meeting the local importer today, the centre said the affected products have not been imported to Hong Kong.

The UK Food Standards Agency issued an alert at the weekend on possible Salmonella contamination of the products.
