Four of the six patients of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital who developed symptoms of diarrohea have tested positive for Norovirus, the Hospital Authority says.

For the remaining two patients, one has tested negative while the result for the other is pending. All the six patients are in stable condition.

The hospital has stepped up infection control measures in the concerned ward and will continue to monitor the situation.
