Applications for new niches open

Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

Applications for 2,300 newly built standard niches in the Columbarium of Kwai Chung Crematorium are open from March 20 to April 4. The charges for each standard niche and memorial plaque are $3,000 and $295.

 

Application forms can be downloaded from the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department's website. Completed application forms, together with the required documents, should be submitted in person during office hours, or by mail or by fax, to the Cemeteries & Crematoria Offices. Late applications will not be accepted.

  

An open ballot by computer will be conducted on May 3 to decide the selection priorities of the applicants. Results will be posted at the Cemeteries & Crematoria Offices as well as on the department's website.
