Lunar year-end cleanliness activities set
*

A host of cleanliness activities will be held in 18 districts from January 22 to 27 to remind people to observe personal and environmental hygiene while welcoming the Lunar New Year, the Home Affairs Bureau says.

More than 13,000 people will take part in the activities which include street-cleaning, inspection of hygiene black spots, home cleaning for the elderly; and cleanliness contests.

Other activities include Lunar New Year cleaning carnivals, bus parades, as well as distributing cleaning kits and publicity materials.
