The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will introduce a reward scheme to encourage people to use its leisure facilities during non-peak hours before 5pm on weekdays.
The Reward Scheme for Use of Leisure Facilities will run from January 3 to March 31. Each time an individual hirer checks in to use a fee-charging indoor leisure facility, a stamp will be added to his/her Stamp Collection Card.
Leisure facilities covered by the scheme include main arenas, squash courts, table-tennis tables, American pool tables, dance rooms, activity rooms, fitness rooms, climbing walls, bowling greens and golfing facilities.
The hirer who accumulates the required number of stamps within the validity period will get a practical souvenir gift of either a towel or water bottle.
Anyone who has collected 15 stamps can join a lucky draw. One hundred winners will each receive a set of 32 "Chinese Gold Medallists in the Athens Olympic Games" key rings.
The lucky draw will be held on April 18. A list of the winners will be uploaded onto the department's website and posted at sports centres in all districts. Winners will also be notified individually.
