Extra flu vaccine doses on hand

Department of Health

About 15,000 doses of influenza vaccine will be available to private doctors to ease shortages.

 

The Department of Health said today the two lots of vaccines ordered, comprising several thousands doses of Influvac and Fluzone, were registered for use in the UK and US.

 

They were intended for the department's and the Hospital Authority's use, but will also be made available for private practitioners.
