Flu prevention campaign opens

HA's beat flu programme
Flu fight: Seventy organisations participate in the Let's Beat the Flu Campaign.
*

A three-month flu prevention drive for employers, employees and their families has been launched. The Hospital Authority expects to offer flu prevention training to 500,000 office workers and their families.

The Let's Beat the Flu Campaign will see a vast array of organisations and trades participate, including public utilities companies, financial services, insurers, catering, tourism, hotel, transportation, construction and retail industries, labour unions and business associations.

The total number of employees is expected to exceed 200,000.

Each participating organisation will appoint a staff member to be a health ambassador to liaise with the authority on flu prevention training and initiatives. They will attend training sessions and then train their own organisations.
