ACCF2005
Bold approach: The Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum 2005 will have the theme "Brand Asia".
*

Cultural policymakers from Asian economies will join renowned cultural and creative personalities at the Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum 2005 from November 9 to 12 to share insights on brand building through the development of cultural and creative industries.

Built on the success of the past two years, the ACCF 2005 - the third cultural co-operation forum the Home Affairs Bureau has organised - will sport the theme "Brand Asia".

Participants will discuss the branding of places, products and services through the strategic exploitation of intellectual properties and cultural capital.

Mainland delegation to join forum

Cultural ministers from Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Korea, Japan and Vietnam will join a Mainland delegation comprising senior cultural officials from more than 20 provinces and municipalities.

The forum will feature a Mainland delegation meeting on November 9, an Asian cultural ministers' meeting on November 10 and five open forums covering intellectual property protection, the future of Asian movies and opportunities for cross-cultural publication.

Admission to the open forums, which will be held at the Academy for Performing Arts, is free. Registration can be made here. For enquiries, call 2559 9973.
