SARS exhibition
Frontline protection: Surgical masks, a key tool in the 2003 SARS fight, are featured in the exhibition.
*

An exhibition commemorating the community's contribution to the SARS battle in 2003 is being staged at the Science Museum until November 30.

The show, jointly run by the Science and Medical Sciences Museums, features panels, videos and news clippings on major events of the epidemic.

Surgical masks, N95 masks and other protective gear, as well as Chinese and Western medicines used in treating the disease, will be displayed.

Visitors can relive the community spirit and the gratitude showed to the medical profession for its self-sacrificing spirit through the badges, appreciation cards and gifts given them, which will also be displayed.

Admission to the exhibition is free while admission to the museum is $25, with a half-price concession for students, the disabled and the elderly. Admission to the museum is free on Wednesdays. For details click here or call 2732 3232.
