Hong Kong is prepared for the record number of Mainland visitors expected during the National Day Golden Week holiday, the Tourism Commission says.
Government departments and the travel sector have formed measures to smooth travel flow during the 10-day period starting October 1.
Commissioner for Tourism Eva Cheng said up to half a million Mainlanders could arrive during the week, and that the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland could attract 10% more travellers than last year.
"We are ready to meet the challenge of another record-breaking Golden Week holiday," she said.
