54 schools join study competition
*

Fifty-four secondary schools have participated in the third Inter-school Competition of Study Projects on Hong Kong's History & Culture. They contributed insightful study projects on the theme of 'Leisure & Entertainment in 20th Century Hong Kong'.

The competition received 98 entries.

Assistant Director of Leisure & Cultural Services Gerard Tsang said it provided a comprehensive and a valuable learning opportunity for participating students.

The skills they learnt - investigating, discussing, collecting and analysing data, conducting interviews, preparing reports, communicating with others, using effective languages and understanding the importance of co-operation - are all considered essential in their students and future career, Mr Tsang said.
