MoU with the Netherlands
Cultural co-operation: Dutch Vice-Minister of Education, Culture & Science Medy van der Laan and Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho sign the culture pact.
*

Hong Kong has bolstered cultural ties with the Netherlands, signing a co-operation agreement today.

Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho said the move will open more creative visions and perspectives from different art and cultural exchanges with Holland.

He signed it with Dutch Vice-Minister of Education, Culture & Science Medy van der Laan, making a formal framework to promote cultural co-operation, which will promote mutual awareness, respect, understanding, harmony and friendship between the two jurisdictions.

"I look forward to exploring ways to further develop these co-operative initiatives and joining hands with the Netherlands to build a strong cultural alliance," Dr Ho said.
