The first Cyberport Games Marathon will be held during the weekends of July 1 to 3 and July 9 to 10 to showcase locally-developed games and promote a positive and healthy gaming culture in Hong Kong.

Activities on the first weekend include the CGM China-Hong Kong Challenge, Gamers Training Session, Interactive & Computer Arts Gallery, IiTEC2005 Prize Presentation & Exhibition, w-inds.ageha Video Concert, Teen Power Games Challenge and the Teen Power 11 Waves Cyber Live Concert.

The second weekend will see the creativity of the local electronic games industry. Highlights include the Hong Kong Games Expo, Hong Kong Games Trials & Demonstrations, Parent-Child Online Challenge, CosPlay Costume Show & Competition and an RTHK mini concert.

Meanwhile, Cyberport announced its strategic partnership with the China Interactive Sports Technology Company to stage the Hong Kong preliminaries of the China Esport Games on July 1 to 3.

Top-notch local gamers will represent Hong Kong to compete against professional Mainland gamers from the China Esport Games for the Cyberport Games Marathon Cyberport Cup.
