Air turbulance injures 15
*

Eight passengers and seven cabin crew have been injured after a Cathay Pacific plane hit turbulance during a flight from Manila.

Flight CX 906 arrived in Hong Kong at 12.45pm. The 11 women and four men, aged one to 65, were sent to Yan Chai and Princess Margaret Hospitals. Most have been treated and discharged.

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow, attending a ceremony at the latter hospital, visited the injured and said they suffered minor injuries.

The Civil Aviation Department has asked Cathay to submit a report on the incident.
