Arts festival to showcase the disabled
*

The weeklong International Festival of Inclusive Arts will be held next year to highlight the talents of the disabled.

Organised by the Health, Welfare & Food Bureau the event encourages the disabled to partake in arts and culture activities.

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow said today that a similar festival in 1989 was well received. He said to keep the tradition alive, the International Festival of Inclusive Arts will be held on December 3 next year to coincide with the International Day of Disabled Persons.

It will feature performing arts programmes like musicals, theatre, dance performances and art exhibitions.
