*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed 34 more victims in the Causeway Bay food poisoning outbreak, bringing the total to 89.

Thirteen were primary school students and their family members. Two other males and 19 females, aged six to 55, also ate at the restaurant on the same day - April 24.

They developed fever, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting. Nineteen sought treatment. An eight-year-old girl was admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital and is now stable.

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department investigation continues.
