More than 186,000 people with a high risk of influenza infection and its complications have been vaccinated since the Government inoculation programme launched in October.
The Department of Health said most vaccines were given in November and December, before the expected arrival of the flu season in the first quarter of this year.
About 147,000 recipients were sick and elderly people, 31,000 were frontline medical staff, and 8,000 were poultry workers and culling operators.
The department said today the programme has been completed, however those aged 65 or above on Comprehensive Social Security Assistance can continue to get vaccinated at public clinics.
