More than 60 cultural ministers and senior government officials from Asian economies will join renowned personalities in the cultural and creative fields at the Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum 2004 from November 14 to 17 to share experiences on the development of creative industries.
The ACCF 2004, with the theme of "Creative Asia", is the second cultural co-operation forum organised by the Home Affairs Bureau.
Built on the success of last year's forum, the forum aims to foster cultural co-operation, share experiences on the development of creative industries, enhance partnership between governments and facilitate and promote private sector initiatives among the participating economies in the region.
China's Minister of Culture Sun Jiazheng and senior cultural officials from various provinces and municipalities will join the forum. Other participating countries include Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The forum will feature a PRC delegations meeting on Sunday, an Asian cultural ministers meeting on Monday and an open forum from Monday to Wednesday. For details, click here.
