Closer culture: Croatia's Minister of Culture Bozo Biskupic and Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho sign the memorandum of understanding on cultural co-operation.

*

Hong Kong and Croatia have signed a memorandum of understanding on cultural co-operation.

Both governments agreed to promote and strengthen co-operation in culture, arts and education, which they believe will further mutual awareness, respect, understanding, harmony and friendship between their people.

To start, there will be exchange of exhibition catalogues on contemporary art between major museums and exchange of information on major performers.

Other proposed exchange activities include music exchange programmes in Hong Kong for visiting youth music groups from Croatia.
