Illegal car park operator evicted

Housing Department

The Housing Department has evicted an illegal car park operator from the Eastern Lot of the former North Point Estate for breaching licence conditions.

 

The department said the site has been used as a fee-paying car park, instead of the car yard stipulated in the licence agreement.

 

The licensee can lodge an appeal to the Appeal Tribunal (Housing) within 15 days.

 

The Eastern Lot was leased for a fixed term of 15 months from October 1 at a monthly rent of $81,000.
