The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed two imported Dengue fever cases, bringing the year's total to 25.
A 54-year-old Sha Tin man who developed fever, muscle pain, joint pain and a rash on September 13, was admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital on September 21 and discharged five days later. He had travelled to Bangladesh between August 20 and September 20.
The other patient is a 33-year-old North Point woman who developed ever, muscle pain, eye pain and a rash on September 20. She had travelled to Singapore from September 14 to 16. She was admitted to Ruttonjee Hospital on September 25 and discharged five days later.
The centre urged people to guard against the disease and prevent mosquito breeding.
