Bloodworms

Ombudsman to probe bloodworm handling
*

The Ombudsman will probe the reaction of Government departments to the problem of bloodworms in swimming pools.

 

The investigation will study actions taken by the Leisure & Cultural Services and Food & Environmental Hygiene Departments, co-ordination between them, their methods for informing the public, and the appropriateness and effectiveness of the action taken by them.

 

The public can send views to the Office of the Ombudsman, 30F, China Merchants Tower, Shun Tak Centre, 168-200 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong (fax: 2882 8149, email: complaint@ombudsman.gov.hk) by September 24.
