Government House open day on May 2
*

Learn more about one of Hong Kong's best-known landmarks and savour its beautiful gardens next Sunday as Government House opens to the public.

The building's gardens are in full bloom, providing a great photographic background for a family day out.

This will be the third time the building is open to the public this year. It will be open from 10am to 5pm on May 2. All visitors are requested to enter by the east gate at Upper Albert Road and leave by the main gate.

There will be a display in the ballroom, produced with the assistance of the Antiquities & Monuments Office, showing old pictures of Government House and photographs of the international dignitaries received there since 1997.

Visitors can also see the Drawing and Dining Rooms where the Government often holds important official functions.
