EK Yeoh to visit the UK
*

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr Yeoh Eng-kiong will visit the UK on April 22 to exchange views with British health officials and others at an international forum.

 

Dr Yeoh will meet the Minister of State for Health John Hutton and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State to the Department of Health Lord Warner of Brockley. He will also meet Parliament's Health Select Committee.

 

He will later address a lunch hosted by the HK Association for Business Leaders in the UK and update them on Hong Kong's situation.

 

Dr Yeoh will call on the Health Protection Agency on April 23 to exchange views on health protection, prevention and control of communicable diseases, and laboratory surveillance.

 

He will later exchange views and share experiences at the Cambridge International Health Leadership Programme with health leaders from around the world on a wide range of issues, centring on the theme Transforming Health: From Policy to Action. He has been invited to be a programme faculty member.

 

Dr Yeoh will return to Hong Kong on April 25.
