EK Yeoh hails outgoing university dean
*

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr Yeoh Eng-kiong says he is sorry to learn that Professor Sydney Chung has resigned as the Dean of the Chinese University Faculty of Medicine.

"Professor Chung has made many contributions to patient care, the health system and medical education in his many years as a doctor, as the dean of the medical faculty of the Chinese University and as a member of the Hospital Authority Board," Dr Yeoh said.

"I have the greatest respect and admiration for Professor Chung, who is an outstanding doctor and academic. I thank him most sincerely for all his work.

"His departure from Hong Kong will be a great loss to the Hong Kong community but I wish him well in his future endeavours."
