Get ready for a fiery extravaganza!

*
HK Observatory

While the weather tonight will be cloudy and cold, it will not affect the fireworks display above Victoria Harbour, the HK Observatory says.

There one or two showers possible this evening, with moderate northerly winds, fresh over offshore waters. As the cold weather warning is still in force, the Observatory reminds people to dress warmly when going out.

Meanwhile, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Central, Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui from 5pm, and most public transport services will strengthen services to meet passenger demand. For details, click here.

The winter monsoon will continue to bring cold weather to southern China in the next few days, and the temperature here will fall to about eight degrees on January 25 morning.

It is expected that the winter monsoon will moderate gradually next week.
