The Department of Health has confirmed the first imported Dengue fever case this year.

The 17-year-old patient returned to Hong Kong from a Southeast Asian country on December 28. He had come down with a fever, headache, muscle pain and joint pain on December 27 and was admitted to Ruttonjee Hospital on December 30.

The patient is now in stable condition.
