Imported Dengue fever case confirmed

Department of Health

The Department of Health has confirmed another imported Dengue fever case, bringing the total to 48.

 

The 67-year-old man visited a Southeast Asian country between November 29 and December 10. He came down with a fever, cough and chills on December 14 and has now recovered.

 

The department called on the public to stay alert against the disease and take precautions. For prevention tips, click here.

 

This year the department has seen 49 Dengue fever cases and all but one have been imported.
