The Government has reappointed the 10 incumbent members of the Hospital Authority, effective from December 1.

Eleanor Ling, Eliza Chan,  Iris Chan, Lo Chung-hing, Prof Thomas Wong, Anthony Wu, Paul Yu, Dr Lily Chiang and Dr Anthony Ho were reappointed for a two-year period; Mong Ko Mei-yee was reappointed for one year.

Dr Loretta Yam, Chief of Service for Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, has also been appointed a Hospital Authority member for two years.

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr Yeoh Eng-kiong thanked Lee Jark-pui, Dr James Hwang and Scarlett Pong for their advice and contribution to the Hospital Authority. They retired from the Board on December 1.

The Hospital Authority comprises a chairman, 20 non-official members, three public officers and one principal officer from the Hospital Authority. The new membership list of the Hospital Authority as from December 1, 2003 is as follows:
