Tight schedule: Movie star Jackie Chan presents a souvenir to Yang Liwei. The astronaut later visited the China Bank Tower and Tsing Ma Bridge visitors' centre.

He visited the China Bank Tower before attending a banquet organised by a local women's association.

In the afternoon he visited Tsing Ma Bridge before heading to The Peak where he attended a dinner hosted by Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho.

On Monday Mr Yang will address school children and others in the education and science sectors on space flight at City Hall.

He will also attend a gathering with over 2,500 teachers and students from primary and secondary schools at Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
