Real Madrid tickets sell out within hours
*

All Real Madrid football match tickets for public sale sold out by 3am this morning. The Mongkok Stadium will open on August 8 to admit 9,000 spectators to view the match live on a jumbo TV screen.

Tickets for Mongkok Stadium will be distributed by drawing lots, so no queuing will be necessary. Details will be announced shortly.

Arrangements will also be made for about 10,000 audience people to watch a Real Madrid training session on August 7 at Hong Kong Stadium.

Children and youth football training scheme participants, Social Welfare Department clients including SARS victims, night drifters, street youths and the disabled will be invited to watch the session.

The Social Welfare and Leisure & Cultural Services Departments will distribute the tickets, so there will be no need for queuing.
