Relaunch Hong Kong: A book entitled You Light Up My Life will be distributed free of charge at the Hong Kong Book Fair.

A new book brings together hundreds of articles that reflect Hong Kong people's views and experiences in fighting the SARS battle.

You Light Up My Life seeks to promote and stimulate the values the community displayed during the fight against the disease: resilience, vigilance, unity. 

The book, a joint effort of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and the Education & Manpower Bureau, is divided into three sections: Individual, School and Society.

Some articles in the School section are students' essays, expressing their feelings during the period of the SARS outbreak. It will be used as a teaching and reference resource.

The book will be distributed free of charge on a first-come-first-served basis at the Hong Kong Book Fair at Booth 5E26, Hall 5, Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from tomorrow until August 3.

It will also be available at the Home Affairs Department's Public Enquiry Service Centres in the 18 districts and the Civic Education Resource Centre from August 1 onwards.

The Civic Education Resource Centre is located on the second floor of the Tung Sun Commercial Centre, 194-200 Lockhart Road in Wan Chai. The opening hours are 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to noon on Saturday. The enquiry telephone number is 2802 0131.
