Ten artistic talents have been hailed at the Art Biennial 2003, one of Hong Kong's largest art competitions.
After two rounds of judging, adjudicators found winning entries in a range of media, showing the diversity and style of Hong Kong's art scene.
The open competition, now in its 14th year and presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, aims to encourage more artistic creation, participation and exchange among artists, enhance public appreciation of art, and promote Hong Kong's status on the international art scene.
The competition attracted more than 1,500 entries. A panel of six local judges selected 313 works for the second round of judging. A panel of six overseas, Mainland and local judges conducted the final selection.
