Tender invited for EcoPark tenancy
*
Environmental Protection Department

The Environmental Protection Department is inviting contractors to submit tenders for a waste metal recycling tenancy in EcoPark Phase I in Tuen Mun Area 38.

EcoPark provides the recycling and environmental industry with long-term and well-equipped land at affordable rent to encourage investment into advanced and value-added recycling processes.

Four of the six lots in Phase I have been allocated for recycling of waste wood, used cooking oil, computer equipment and waste plastics. The department is in close liaison with these tenants in forming their operations at EcoPark.

Tender documents are available at the department's Waste Reduction & EcoPark Group at Room 217, second floor, East Wing, 88 Victoria Road, Kennedy Town.

Submissions should be addressed to the Central Tender Board Chairman by noon October 31, and placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box in the lift lobby on the lower ground floor of the Central Government Offices (East Wing) at 20 Lower Albert Road (at its junction with Garden Road), Hong Kong.

For enquiries call 2872 1649 or fax 2872 0389.
