Edward Yau begins London visit
*

Secretary for the Environment Edward Yau began a five-day visit to London, to meet British counterparts and attend a climate change conference.

 

This morning, he called on former London Mayor Ken Livingstone and Office of the Gas & Electricity Markets Chief Executive Alistair Buchanan.

 

This afternoon he met with Committee on Climate Change Chairman Lord Turner.

 

He will also call on Greater London Authority Head of Environment Shirley Rodrigues, and C40 Cities Secretariat Manager Simon Reddy.  

 

He will attend the Chatham House Conference on Climate Change and participate in a panel discussion on the Role of Cities in Promoting Energy Efficiencies on a Big Scale & Developing New Technologies.
