The Environmental Protection Department has published a guide to help local trades and industries put green business into action.

The Environmental Guide for Smart Business provides an overview of environmental legislation and infrastructure in Hong Kong to help trade and industry implement green measures.

The guide is available in both hard copies and CD-ROM at the Environmental Protection Department's Compliance Assistance Centre, 28/F Southorn Centre, Wan Chai. It can also be downloaded here.

The department will hold briefing sessions November 6 and 16 at the Productivity Council to introduce its compliance assistance services.
