Henry Tang to visit Australia

Chief Secretary Henry Tang will attend the Hong Kong-Guangdong Business Conference in Sydney on October 27.

 

The conference is the eighth investment promotion event held jointly by the Hong Kong and Guangdong governments since 2003 to promote investment and business opportunities offered by the close co-operation between the city and the Pearl River Delta region.

 

Mr Tang will also visit Melbourne to meet the Governor of Victoria, and visit arts and cultural facilities.

 

He will return October 29. Secretary for Food & Health Dr York Chow will act in Mr Tang's post October 26, and Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Stephen Lam will act October 27 and 28.
