The second round of applications for the Mega Events Fund will run throughout November.

Local non-profit-making organisations are invited to apply for funding support to organise mega arts, cultural and sports events in Hong Kong before March 31, 2012.

Selection is based on the economic, public relations and other benefits of the events, their scale, the capability and track record of the applicants, the feasibility of the proposals, and the reasonableness of the budget.

Six events were selected in the first round.
