Land registration website upgraded

Land Registry

Land Registrar Kim Salkeld has urged people to visit a new multimedia centre on the Land Titles Ordinance amendments consultation website to boost public awareness of the new title registration system and its bearing on everyday life.

The multimedia centre is featuring a newly launched television series History of Hong Kong Lands which presents the local land registration system in an innovative and lively way.

Through the programme people can better understand the security of property rights, review the land registration system's development and understand the upcoming title registration system's importance.

The 10-episode series will be aired on TVB Jade every Wednesday at 7pm until April 15. It can also be viewed and reviewed on the RTHK website.

The three-month consultation period will end March 31. People can send in their views via email, fax (3520 2754) or mail to the Land Registry, 28/F Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong. Click here for more details.
