Flat sales fall 37%

Land Registry

Sale and purchase agreements for all types of building units received for registration in November was 3,786, a fall of 37.5% on October and 79.1% on November last year, the Land Registry says.

 

Using a 12-month moving average the figure represented a decrease of 10.4% on October and 11% on a year earlier.

 

The total consideration of these agreements in the month was $10.6 billion, down 43.8% on October and 86.9% on November last year.

 

Of the 3,786 sale and purchase agreements, 3,264 were for residential units, down 30.8% on October and 79.3% on a year earlier.
