$6.4b in land premiums recorded
*
Lands Department

There were 19 land transactions recorded in the third quarter, generating total land premiums of about $6.4 billion.

The Lands Department registered 14 lease modifications and four land exchanges in the Land Registry, of which nine were for residential purposes and nine for non-residential developments.

Four are located on Hong Kong Island, with seven in Kowloon and seven in the New Territories. The transactions exclude small-house cases.

A single lot was granted by private treaty, to the Vocational Training Council in Tseung Kwan O Area 74 for school development.
