Lands Department

The Lands Department issued five consents for the sale of 2,724 uncompleted residential units in four districts and one consent for a commercial development in the third quarter.

 

Three residential developments in Cheung Sha Wan, Tai Kok Tsui and Tin Shui Wai comprising 2,140 flats are due for completion next year. Two developments in Cheung Sha Wan and North Point comprising 584 units are due for completion in 2009.

 

The department also issued one consent to assign units in a Tung Chung completed development, involving 783 flats.

 

At the end of September, 10 applications for consent to sell uncompleted units and six applications for consent to sell uncompleted commercial developments were being processed.

 

The applications involved 9,874 units. Among them, six developments involving 4,482 flats are due for completion next year. The other four, involving 5,392 units, are due for completion in 2009.

 

Two applications for consent to assign involving 953 completed units are being processed.
