Flat sales drop 23.3% in September

The Land Registry received 10,475 sale and purchase agreements for all types of building units in September, down 23.3% on August, and 6.5% on September last year.

 

The total consideration of these agreements was $33.2 billion, down 24.8% on August and 2.6% on September 2006.

 

There were 8,753 sale and purchase agreements for residential flats, down 23.8% on August and 10.8% year on year. 

 

The total consideration of these agreements was $24.1 billion, down 34.4% on August, and 16.8% when compared with the same month last year.
