The Lands Department issued one consent for the sale of 11 uncompleted residential units in Sha Tin and one consent for a commercial development in the second quarter.

At the end of June, there were 19 applications pending approval. Of these, 12 were for consent to sell uncompleted residential units and seven for consent to sell uncompleted commercial developments.

The 12 applications for consent to sell uncompleted residential units involved 7,510 premises. Among them, one development involving 85 residential units is estimated to be completed this year. The other 11, involving 7,425 units, are estimated to be completed in 2008 and 2009.

The department also issued three consents to assign units in completed developments, two for residential units and one for commercial units, in the second quarter. The two consents to assign residential developments involved 1,430 units in Tung Chung and Ma Wan.

There were two applications for consent to assign involving 812 completed residential units pending approval.
