The Hong Kong Award for Industries for 2007, aiming to commend manufacturing and services enterprises' outstanding achievements and performance excellence, is now open for entries. The closing date is August 3.

The Director-General of Trade & Industry chairs the Hong Kong Award for Industries organising committee. The scheme has seven awards categories - consumer product design, machinery and equipment design, customer service, environmental performance, innovation and creativity, productivity and quality, and technological achievement.

The awards presentation ceremony will be held on January 23 next year.
